Alfa Laval offers an extensive range of aseptic diaphragm
valves for ultra-hygienic processes. The modular design of the valves
ensures a wide flexibility with standardised high quality components.

Working principle
Our Aseptic Diaphragm Valve system is based on the
well-proven weir type diaphragm valve together with a wide range of
diaphragms and actuators with associated control and indication units.
Standard Design
With the modular design of the Aseptic Diaphragm Valve
nearly all possible configurations are feasible. The valve is composed of
the following parts:
- - Actuator - either manual or pneumatic
- - Diaphragm - available in a variety of soft and hard elastomers.
- - Valve body - the standard type is a two-way, but other
configurations are available. The body can be supplied according to a
variety of tube connections and in several surface finishes.
You can combine the 3 parts in almost any combination.
Alfa Laval offers a standard range with the most common combinations and
further combinations are available as options.

Standard program
Our standard valve configurations are selected in order to
simplify selection and ordering. The standard Aseptic Diaphragm Valve
range is suitable for most applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
Apart from the standard valve configuration, Alfa Laval also offers a
large variety of options where you can compose your own valve from our
different options.
