Keofitt® is a specialised Danish
company established in 1980 by master brewer Kai Ottung. Kai
Ottung worked as master brewer around the world and assisted
many breweries developing their techniques. In the process he
also developed a unique product range for sterile sampling for
the medical, soft drink, & food industry, as well as, of course,
for the breweries There are more than 60,000 valves in use
The valves are authorised to use the 3-A symbol
The valves are made of certifiable/traceable 316L stainless
steel (Werkstoff 1.4404)
The rubber membranes are made of FDA approved compounds
The interior of the valve body and the hose pieces are: Ra
0.5 µm/ 20µin and can be electropolished to 0.2 µm/8µin
