ITS all in the Mix – Daniatech Mixing Solutions from ITS

Mixing Solutions at their best…

For many hygienic processing facilities, the mixing operation is a key process that can determine the output of a good or bad batch of product. Surely then, you need to be sure that the equipment being used is up to the job?

Hygienic Mixers and agitators combine, mix, blend, fold, and whip large amounts of ingredients. In addition to ingredient blending , mixing is also used in processing applications to control rates of heat and mass transfer, or to intentionally cause reactions or changes in the properties of the final delivery of product with regards texture and sensory profiles. The expectation is that the results of mixing will be uniformed and consistent with each and every lot produced.

At Industrial Trading Solutions Ltd we understand that the constant shift in people’s tastes and requirements means the number of advanced ingredients and formulations for new products presents a great challenge for the mixing equipment. With more complex products, at higher capacities, we offer solutions with a more automated approach and select only the best manufacturers to supply processing solutions into some of the most regulated industries around the world.

Introducing Daniatech

Which Mixing Solution for you?

There are 11 models in the Daniatech mixing range, all of which are specified to suit variations in application. See the full range available: Click Here

We have put together a snapshot of 3 of the mixing models as below:

LiquidMaster

The LiquidMaster is the most energy-efficient solution for inline High Shear mixing on the market.

The powder is dosed manually into the vessel, where the liquid level is manually controlled by a butterfly valve on the inlet pipe. The mixer works according to the rotor-stator principle, where a special closed mixing wheel distributes the product through the patented slots. The unit circulates approx. 75% of the liquid back into the vessel. The mixer is very versatile and can be used in many setups and applications.

For low to medium viscosity the mixer performs the out-pumping action itself. For high-viscose applications (>250cp) the setup requires positive feeding.

Results can take Homogenisation down to 1my lump free.

The mixer is integrated into a table that offers an ergonomic working position.

Ideal Applications:

The LiquidMaster is used for mixing of powders and liquids :

  • Sugar solutions
  • Recombined dairy products
  • Brine emulsifiers
  • Stabilisers
  • Plus more

Standard equipment:

  • Mixer unit (230/400V 50Hz) with shaft sealing
  • Tri-clamp inlet/outlet
  • CIP spray ball with manual butterfly for cleaning

VacuumMaster

The VacuumMaster represents the next generation of mixing solutions for the process industry. Not only is it more compact and perfectly optimised for energy-efficient high shear mixing, it is also virtually maintenance-free.

The vacuum feature allows automatic handling of the powder dosing directly from big bags or silos. By means of vacuum the powder is drawn into the mixer below liquid level and instantly wetted.

The powerful, high shear mixer generates a controlled vortex in the tank. The combination of vortex and vacuum effectively separates air from the liquid and generates a perfect homogeneous dispersion within seconds.

The result is a highly stable and homogeneous, air- and lump-free end product.

Depending on the selected options, the mixer can be used as a batch mixer or as an in-line mixer. For in-line mixing a circulation loop is required.

Ideal Applications:

The VacuumMaster has been optimized for mixing of a wide range of products, e.g.:

  • Products for spray drying
  • Soft drinks
  • Ice cream
  • Sugar solutions
  • Pectin solutions
  • Syrup
  • Slurries
  • Soups
  • Recombined milk-based products
  • Plus more

(The final product must be pumpable using a standard centrifugal pump – viscosity up to 2000 cP. For viscosity above 2000 cP, a DTM process mixer is required)

Standard equipment:

  • Mixer unit with flushed mechanical shaft seal (requires frequency control)
  • Vacuum pump with water-saving unit (requires frequency control)
  • 3-way valve for CIP of vacuum pipe
  • Man way with safety sensor
  • Inspection glass with wiper / inspection glass with LED light source
  • 2 x powder valves (butterfly)
  • 1 x outlet valve (butterfly)
  • 2 x rotating spray balls with 3-way valve from vacuum pipe
  • 2 x level sensors top & bottom
  • Temperature transmitter
  • Pressure sensor
  • Fittings: TRI-Clams, SMS or DIN-ISO

ProcessMaster

The ProcessMaster is it more compact and perfectly optimised for energy-efficient high shear mixing, it is also virtually maintenance-free.

By means of vacuum, the powder is drawn from the funnel into the mixer below liquid level and instantly wetted. The powerful, high shear mixer and scraper agitator generates a controlled vortex in the tank. The combination of vortex and vacuum effectively separates air from the liquid and generates a perfect homogeneous dispersion within seconds.

The unit comes with an insulated jacket for quick heating and cooling with steam or ice water. For extra quick heating the unit can be equipped with direct steam valves.

The result is a highly stable and homogeneous, air and lump-free product.

Ideal Applications:

The mixer is used for mixing of:

  • Sauce
  • Mayonnaise (max. 1000 kg)
  • Dressing
  • Gels
  • Cream
  • Emulsion
  • Plus more

Homogenisation down to 3 my lump free and viscosity up to 50.000 cP.

Standard equipment:

  • Mixer unit with flushed mechanical shaft seal (requires frequency control)
  • Vacuum pump with water-saving unit (requires frequency control)
  • 3-way valve for CIP of vacuum pipe
  • Insulated Steam/cooling jacket flange connection
  • Scraper agitator
  • Double agitator
  • Manway with safety sensor
  • Inspection glass with wiper / inspection glass with LED light source
  • 2 x powder valves (butterfly)
  • 1 x outlet valve (butterfly)
  • 2 x rotating spray balls with 3-way valve from vacuum pipe
  • 2 x level sensors top & bottom
