Say Hello to Tamsin Smith, our new Regional Sales Manager…

Tamsin has joined ITS as Regional Sales Manager and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in process flow products, having spent her career in the industry.

See Tamsin’s Intro Video Here:

Tamsin started working at Worthington Simpson’s as an apprentice in 1998 as the first female apprentice the company had ever taken on. (Worthington Simpson’s became IDP, which then became Flowserve). She did her apprenticeship as a fitter, building horizontal split case pumps, giving her a great introduction into what would become a constant in her life.

Working her way up into the sales office as an Applications Engineer within Flowserve, Tamsin flourished in the sales and marketing environment as the youngest person worldwide to have worked in the department at the time.

Moving on to work at KSB Pumps and Valves and then spending some time at Northern Pumps, Tamsin found herself back at Flowserve for a second time around, but on the Worcester Ball Valve side of the company. She was made redundant from Flowserve in 2016 so took up a position at Musk Engineering as a Sales Engineer, selling fluid process project solutions, until being head hunted for a position at Industrial Trading Solutions Ltd this year.

For over 20 years, Tamsin has built her expertise in process fluid handling products and has built great relationships with customers in the Food, Beverage, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Power, Oil & Gas industries, so ITS are over the moon to have her on the team to help our customers with their application requirements.

Tamsin lives in Newark as she has done for most of her lifer and is a very active person, spending time with her partner of 11 years, Steve, at the gym most evenings where they can.

We wish Tamsin all the best in her new role and hope you get to meet her very soon – if you haven’t already done so!

Welcome to the team Tamsin 🙂
